In an inspiring act of community dedication, the Culture Care Senior Living Communities in Chautauqua County took a day to transform an old building in Jamestown, NY, as part of their ongoing #heretocare campaign. The team’s efforts were aimed at supporting The Barnabas Project Inc., a local nonprofit organization promoting donation-based health and wellness in Jamestown.
Culture Care’s team members dove into the demolition work, stripping down the interior of the building. Despite the physical challenge with the heat of the day, the spirit was high as they focused on making a positive difference in the community.
"Our team is driven by a deep commitment to both our residents and the communities in which we live and work," said Zac Hnatyszyn, VP of Community Outreach for Culture Care Senior Living. "Revitalizing this space for The Barnabas Project Inc. is a testament to our dedication and hard work for an amazing cause."
Gary Rohinsky, CEO and owner of Culture Care Senior Living, also joined the effort, reinforcing the organization’s hands-on approach. "While our mission primarily focuses on our seniors, their families, and our team, we also strive to be a positive force within the communities we serve. Supporting our neighboring businesses, organizations and the community as a whole is a huge part of our mission too," Rohinsky shared.

The Barnabas Project Inc. has big plans to be a beacon of health and wellness in Jamestown, offering free fitness classes to the community. The nonprofit aims to turn the newly revitalized building into a donation-based fitness center, furthering its mission to promote healthy living.
The transformation of this building is more than just a physical change; it represents a commitment to community well-being and collaboration. As the day ended, the sense of achievement was palpable, with everyone knowing that their hard work would have a lasting impact on Jamestown.
Culture Care Senior Living’s initiative is a shining example of how businesses can play a crucial role in community development. Their #heretocare campaign continues to highlight the importance of fostering strong community ties and improving lives.
